Secret CDs 43
Event information:
Detailed description:
The forty-third monthly Secret CDs night is at The Voodoo Rooms Speakeasy on Wednesday 1st June. It's a Northern Ireland special with a brilliant line up of four amazingly talented acoustic acts all for a mere £3 (on the door). Last month's Secret CDs was sold out, so make sure you arrive early to avoid disappointment.
James Igoe says: "I'm delighted to host four brilliant acts who have emerged from Northern Ireland, three of whom are Edinburgh residents. Tom McConnell graced the Secret CDs stage last year with a phenomenal performance - definitely one to watch. Paul Gilbody is a top, top musician who can sing, play, write and perform with consummate ease. Aaron Shanley played a mesmeric show at the last ever gig at The Lot in January and is making waves wherever he plays worldwide. Arran Arctic has made some of the most pleasant, atmospheric recordings to have come out of Edinburgh this year. Not just linked by birthplace, these four artists also share a gift for creating great music and I'm looking forward to this gig immensely."
These four great acts will play a live set and have their CDs on sale in the foyer:
