Detailed description:
Having had a successful first meeting, we have decided on a date of Sat 11th February 2012. Hopefully Christmas will be sufficiently over for everyone then.
At this point we would welcome suggestions for entertainment and a format for the evening. So far, we are trying to source a DJ and perhaps some live music also. Tickets will be priced at £10.00 per person and will include a buffet supper for all attendees. We need an M.C to compere the evenings entertainment and we would like to draw up an awards list for whatever categories people may like to suggest. We intend to compile a slideshow of photos of people and places from the area and therefore would welcome any photos you can dig up.
We also need volunteers to help arrange the whole thing so please feel free to step forward as all offers will be welcome. Also, as they are the main representatives in the area, we would like to make contact with Meadow/Armagh Road Community Association as we believe they will be well placed to help make this event a success. Any suggestions for contacts would be appreciated. Anyway folks, this is just an update and we plan to meet again on Tuesday 8th November again in Bellinis @ 7.00. All are welcome and volunteers are needed.
