As dance.philly. continues the series of house nights on Thursdays at Flirt, we bring you this week, VERSION 2.0! Who conisist of DJs Miguel V. & Marcus Scarfo
*Miguel V.*
- Since the day of his birth..Miguel has been subjected to the sounds of vocals,percussion,brass, and strings being raised in a musical background consisting of Salsa and Mambo the sounds in these genres made Miguel fall in love with House Music at the age of 16. Now at the age of 22, Miguel is starting his career in DJing/Producing his sound consists of Tribal, Vocal and Tech House.
*Marcus Scarfo*
- Scarfo fell in love with music before he could walk. Growing up to the sounds of 90’s hip hop and pop music, he discovered the power of music to move people. Scarfo began break dancing and pop-locking at the age of 10. Over the years, he worked on his skills as a bboy, and at the age of 19, he co-founded Xclusive Dance Crew. That same year, Scarfo began his DJing career as a resident at Café Scalessa, a local Italian Restaraunt and Night Club. From that point, his passion shifted from dancing to mixing. At 22 years of age, Scarfo is currently reinventing his sound as a DJ and beginning his career as a producer with Miguel V. in the duo, Version 2.0.
